Care Basics
This section under development will provide information on comparative dimensions of pot
size to plant size, types of soil and fertilizer required, the watering dilemma (how much and how often)
pinching off dead leaves and flowers, plant disease symptoms and treatment, dealing with undesirable birds
and squirrels, and poisonous plants to avoid
For particular care instructions, read the label and/or ask the salesperson, when
you purchase the plant.
It is common practice to repot new plants since they are not usually purchased in
properly sized containers with adequate drainage. See:
