A GARDENING GUIDE FOR HOME AND TERRACE
Terrace Plantings
Additional information more particular to terrace gardening (more to be added).
Be mindful of the rules of your building (are these complex-wide?), largely related to safety and to consideration of your neighbors:
- No hanging baskeds. Indeed no drilling into walls or ceiling of terrace.
- Window boxes are ok, but must hang inside not outside the railings
- No umbrellas to shade the plants from sun
For information on wildlife visitors to your terrace , birds and animals (which you
may want to encourage or discourage), see the section
